Quality of habitat

The quality of habitat refers to the contribution of the local environmental conditions to a population in terms of fitness.

Permeability of habitat

The permeability of habitat for movement refers to the effect of local environmental conditions on: (1) the likelihood of movement, and (2) the cost of movement. See for Fletcher et al. 2019 and Van Moorter et al. 2021 for further discussion.
